Events

HUSKY FOOTBALL NIL offers UW student athletes educational and professional opportunities step-by-step on how to achieve their NIL goals. From athletic camps, speaking engagements, product endorsements, to unique one-of-a-kind events (like a salmon fishing tournament), we assist student-athletes every step of the way. We help the athletes use their NIL to partner with local businesses and individuals where the athletes can earn income, raise awareness for organizations, and assist marketing companies via social media.

Below are some first-hand samples in which Husky Football NIL has already assisted student-athletes in these three lanes of NIL opportunity:

Athletic Camps

Husky Football NIL has assisted many UW student athletes with their own camps. We encourage all student-athletes to give back to their hometown communities that helped them get to where they are today. One example is Devin Culp’s Football Camp in Spokane, Washington this past June 2022 (video below). Originally from Spokane, Devin wanted to go back home in his offseason and put on a free football camp where he attended high school - Gonzaga Prep. We are looking for other opportunities for additional camps. If you are interested in having a camp in your city, contact us. We want to hear your idea.

Speaking Engagements

Student athletes can help promote your company or ideas that they also align with. Student athletes have a unique ability to connect with communities that few others can. One example of this is Carson Bruener speaking at the Sports Broadcast Camp for Kids in July 2022 (video below). This hands on event was sponsored by Plant Fuel and took place at the Mary Gates Hall on the University of Washington campus. If you would like to work with a UW student athlete to speak to your group, please contact us. We can help.

Unique Events

We encourage UW student athletes to think outside the box. We produce events that attract fans to engage and have fun with student athletes in unique experiences for either profit or non-profit purposes. A recent example of this was the 2023 Dawg Derby held in July 2023 at the Port of Everett. This one-of-a-kind salmon fishing derby was sponsored by Cabela’s, Hempler’s Foods, and the Rome Odunze Foundation (For UW students wanting to create their own non-profit foundation we are here to help educate and assist in the formation of such foundations). Paying guests fished alongside current Husky football players competing for the biggest fish (video below). This event was such a success that it will be back in 2024.
